AoA
I recently posted about my 3 year old son having a little occasional squint in his eyes. So as per recommendation of Marham doctor, I went to see an eye specialist. The specialist suggested my son had a minor 0.5 reading on his left eye. So to confirm any suspicion I am required to use "Cyclopen Eye drops" every 20 mins for 2 hours and bring the child for re-examination. My question is this practice safe for a child? Also can you confirm anything from the test results I have? I have the eye test results and doctor prescription which I will attach if requested. Kindly reply as I have to make a decision and am very concerned.

yes sure this is safe for the child. it is just to dilate the pupil to relax the acomodation of eyes. so that the proper test could b conducted.
yes it's mandatory to examine children with cyclopen drops
