SMILE is the latest procedure and involves the use of only one laser
(Femtosecond) as compared to femto-LASIK. A small portion of your cornea is
raised as a flap in femto-LASIK where as this is not a requirement in SMILE
reducing issues relating to creation of flap. More importantly, have you
had initial eye scans done to see feasibility for either procedures?? the
current requirements for both SMILE and femto-LASIK in terms of the cornea
topography are almost the same.

Yes, I already did my tests. My cornea is fine for both femto lasik and smile. Can you please guide me where SMILE is avavilable in Pakistan Cz Im looking to undergo this surgery.

Smile procedure have few advantages like less dry eyes and stability of wound of entry and limitation is astigmatism more than 0.50D. Age required 22 years.
Post operative visual acuity remai same with smile or Femto lasik.

Yes dear SMILE is available in Pakistan. Both Femto-LASIK and SMILE are equally effective. Both have its own Pros and Cons. Decision is upto you after gaining complete knowledge of both procedures.
