Asking for Father, Male, 57 years old, Jauharabad
My Father had Heart attack in 2012 since he Paralysed from left side. Moreover he is patient of Diabetes for 18 years and also having distrubed Blood Pressure. Today Dr. Akmal sb told me he is having Glaucoma (Kala Motia). I want to know is complete treatment of Glaucoma is possible and whether it involves Surgical treatment or just Medical treatment will be enough. And his eye sight will be completly/Partially restored???
Glaucoma is a specific diagnosis and mostly associated with raised pressure inside eye. If eye pressure is well controlled that is under 16 with antiglaucoma eye drops then usually surgery is not required but regular follow up by eye specialist is mandatory after ruling out secondary causes of glaucoma
Glaucoma is an increase in pressure of the fluid present inside our eyeball.
Please consult an eye specialist for the best care.
