My daughter is 2 months old. Recently, she is diagnosed with Motia in her both eyes. Please tell me when to have surgery for motia (i.e., at what age in months)? What are the complications? Is it possible that she can see after the surgery?
If there cataract in both eyes better to consult an ophthalmologist asap and surgery can take place 6-10 weeks as there are chances of amblyopia (permanent weakness of eyesight)

Immediately do the surgery.. She will be able to see in glasses.. When she gets older secondary iol can be implemented for vision without glasses.. Results are usually good.. No problem
There are a lot of reasons why congenital catract occur.. Find the reason bcz its important.. Treatment of the cause is also essential
