Usually nystagmus is a result of some inherited neurological issues which lead to uncontrolled involuntary movement of the eyes. They, to some extent can be managed by detailed examination and glasses if required
Nystagmus is due to decrease vision which is usually due to some disease or wrakness of retina. with time and age it can get better and less..detailed examination is required
Childhood nystagmus means her vision may be poor . So detailed examination by paediatric ophthalmiologist is mandatory .
