M from Quetta My child got hurt by a hen he got 7 stitches in his left eye n ac wash after a month now his eye has srinked doctor said only cure is artificial eye he is 1 year n 9 month old please guide when can we come for artificial eye operation is there an age for it or we can do it now

This is a very important case.
Once eye is shrunken, vision is almost impossible to restore.
But for normal development of facial bones, there must be a mass (prosthetic eye) inside the orbital space for normal induction of surrounding structural development.
Yes it can be done at any age group.
In this case it will require replacements after years to match the size of other eye.
