Talk to Eye on Which Lense Is The Best For Eyes?

Mere father k eyes me Whit parda Aya ha is lye dekhna weak hogaya is lye he had an operation for one eye in Karachi and doctors have used this type of lense(picture).now he wants to do operation for the second eye but not sure if he should use the same type of lense for the other eye or if there is any other good lense available in market?
