Asking for Self, Male, 45 years old, LONDON

I usually have bowel movements once per day. This remains the same yet on Sunday I saw bright red blood on the toilet paper after wiping my bottom. It took serveral wipes for the blood to clear away. Each wipe had marginally less blood. All in all I wiped away around two tablespoons of bright red blood. Aside the blood in the stool, there was no other blood pooled at the bottom of the toilet water. This has happened every day for a week.

There is only blood during bowel movement. I don't have constipation and don't need to strain to defecate. The stool is of a normal size, colour and consistency. Neither big nor hard to cause an anal fissure on exit. What could it be? I am a man aged 45 with no other health complaints.
