You need to get following . Get following labs. Cbc , crp and culture swab . Clean it with normal saline and keep it dry . If your mother have fever then we can start emprical treatment

Her surgeon suggested augmentin DS three times a day 2tbsp.
She doesnt have fever neither any pain in the subject area.
Started oral antibiotic, cleaned it with pyodine and applied fucidin. How to keep it dry? Do you men not to give any food thru it?

Well augmentin should be enough. Just repeating wash with normal saline daily , let it air dry ... put a sterilized gauze over it , repeat same for next day as well . She will be fine

Same as advised by Dr Junaid Mushtaq. you can start applying Fusidin cream for local applications. daily dressing cleansing with normal saline and pyodine is required. If she develops fever then oral antibiotic might be required.

You can continue with the feedings. Just keep cleaning the pus with pyodine and lastly apply fusidin. Oral augmentin is ok. You can continue with this.
