How should I proceed if I was diagnosed with H. pylori through a stool test and completed a 2-week course of prescribed medication, but a month later, I’m still experiencing gastric issues, heartburn, and frequent burping? Could this mean the infection hasn't fully cleared, or could something else be causing these symptoms? Are there any other tests you would recommend? I haven't retaken the H. pylori test yet, but I'm still experiencing symptoms consistent with the infection.
If you are still experiencing gastric issues, heartburn, and frequent burping a month after completing treatment for H. pylori, it is possible the infection was not fully eradicated. I recommend retesting with a stool antigen or urea breath test. Persistent symptoms could also indicate GERD or functional dyspepsia. Consider a trial of proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) and, if symptoms continue, an upper endoscopy may be needed for further evaluation.

I have taken 2 week common medical treatment for h-pylori, but i have nit given any h-pylori test after that though the symptoms are same which were before treatment, no changes. And diet is like normal homemade or bbq food. Physical Activity, i do exercise time to time, like once or twice a week.
