Asking for Father, Male, 62 years old, Depalpur, Okara
Aslam o Alikum. My father's goes through CABG 10 months back. His weakness is increasing dayby day. Blood reports indicate HCV positive. PCR quantitative report is attached. which says virus less then 21.0 ul/ml are detected bigger one not detected. Heart position is also crucial even after cabg. EF is 25% only. please suggest me what should i do related to hcv problem accordingto the PCR reports. Thanks
no need to treat HCV
Please do LFTs, CBC, PT/INR and Ultrasound Liver in accordance with these reports will plan the treatment
this report is showing negative PCR...repeat PCR at 3 months from a good lab whose detection limit is lower.if u live in Karachi then get it done from AKU, LNH labs

Hepatitis C viral load is negative. Please monitor with LFTs and do an ultrasound. CMH Okara is a better option in your region. Repeat after 3 months
