Talk to Gastroenterologist on Lower Abdominal Pain And Swelling

Aoa doctor my friend is 22 years old.. She is suffering from lower abdominal pain and this pain sometimes get sharp.. N there is swelling in lower abdomin too.. She misses her periods and after peeing during cleaning her vaginal she feels pain in lower abdomin.. I am embarrassed to say that she is unmarried but she was sexualy active in her past.. She feels very bad now.. If she feels bad for her parents that's why she is hiding her disease from everyone.. But she needs a proper medical care.. Any gynocologist here can plz help her and treat her by keeping her secret.. Plz
Please ask her to get UPT done if she has missing periods for more than a week and if it's negative then she might be having pelvic infection. Ask her to get an ultrasound abdomen done, urine microscopy and a high vaginal swab. Also avoid intercourse as she might be having sexually transmitted disease. Please consult for detailed check up.

Doctor she was only sexually active in 2k13, , not now.. She avoid sexual activities since 8 years.. And facing these pelvic problems in 2k16 , .. She even do pelvic utrasound by a gynocologist but don't tell her about her sexual history beacuse she feel ashamed..and there is infection show in her ultrasound..Doctor is it urgent to tell about her sexual history doctor ? Because gynocologist only tell her that there is infection shown in in her ultrasound... Still she needs pap smear or not??

Infection can be bacterial or viral. For bacterial infection culture and sensitivity tests are used and pap smear for viral diseases. The gynecologist will advise you an antibiotic course and repeat ultrasound..
