Aoa,its embarrassing to talk but today after excretion, one side of my anus was swollen.. it isn't painful but im too much worried.. plz guide me, is there any medication for this purpose? can it settle on its own or one day i will have to undergo surgery?? plz reply
thank you for consultation, you need to get urgent examination by a gastroenterologist or General surgeon it could be a Peri anal abscess and may need drainage and sample for lab investigation, and may need antibiotics . it's better to go to near by gastroenterologist.

it doesn't mean every swelling needs surgery u should not be afraid of surgery, first it needs through examination , after that it will be decided weather it needs surgery? or medications ? if it's hemorrhoids? then grading is important because different grades have different management, now days hemorrhoidal band ligation is there just treated with sigmoidoscopy with application of bands .

i dont feel its coming out of rectum, however, its not swollen any more and seems normal.. which means its self reducing.. not reduced by hand.. and i dnt have to put it inside back
