black stool means there is a bleed in upper part of your digestive system and it always occurred when there is more than 200 ml blood lost so it is a serious problem
1$t of all stop any blood thinking medicin like ascard or any related medicin
if black stool are multiple episodes just rush to emergency
if it is one or two episodes just reassure is it really black or brown
howere to be a safer side you should visit a gastroenterologist and if it is relay a black stool go for gastroscopy
as I mentioned melena is a sign of uper gi bleed Which can be
esophageal vericel bleed occured in cld (hepatitis)
peptic ulcers diseas can be due to pain medication use or asprine or related drugs
used in cardiac patients
or it can be due to H-pylori a bacteria live in stomach
