General Physician in Toba Tek Singh - Dr. Nafees Razzaq Choudhry

If you have an established atheroscelotic cardiovascular disease ( angina, previous heart attack, previous stroke or mini stroke etc) then definitely need treatment.
If not, plus no other risk factors such as smoking, diabetes, hypertension, family history or heart attacks, then try changing habits first e.g healthy diet and daily exercise.
but in our culture its very difficult to maintain healthy diet because of weddings, desi khanay, mithai on every occasion etc
So better try changing habits for one month if successful, repeat cholesterol again, if levels reduced continue lifestyle changes if not then start treatment plus life style
