Aoa Respected Drs,
My father was diagnosed with ckd stage 3B nine months ago. his nephrologist says that he can eat every fruit but in small proportion. but I m not satisfied since his creatinine level has increased from 17 to 18. can you guide me which fruits/ food he can eat in daily routine especially in Ramadan?
fruits with low K and low protein diet
limit or eliminate leafy green vegetables, broccoli, bananas, potatoes, oranges, and apricots, all of which are high in potassium, and encouraged to choose lower potassium foods including cucumbers, carrots, lettuce, apples, cranberries, grapes, and rice
