Asking for Father, Male, 58 years old, North nazimabad karachi
my father had a stroke and is currently paralysed he is at home but we feel like he is having difficulty in passing stool can someone help me in this case moreover he is hypertension patient so medicines should be accordingly advised
Take one table spoon Ispghol husk wd 2 glasses of water daily.
Give him Susp.Cremaffin 10 to 30 ml at bed time

I also do house call for bed bound patients, you can take my appointment for complete assessment for your father thank you
usually , bed bound patients will continue to have slow bowel movements, you need to add fibers in his diet as well as do not wait more than 48 hours for his bowel movements. if he does not pass stool within 48 hours give him medicine. you can use either stimulant or stool softner. above prescribed medicine are uselful in this regard
