Corona virus is a family of viruses, and from that family Covid-19 is pandemic. Yes prevention is practically possible
It is a large sized virus so doesnt stay in air but is grounded, can directly fall on individuals till 1m distance but not spreading through air droplets, so masks for non sick are usually not recomended
Wash hands more frequently
Dont touch eyes, nose and face un necessary
Use vitamin C which will boost immunity
Try to avoid public gatherings to maximum possible extent.
