Aoa How to give steam to a 4 month old baby using steamer? She's having cough n congestion. I was previously nebulizing, it got better but the symptoms appears again when i stop nebulizing. She's being too fussy. Please guide about steam.

First boil water in some utensil than Add Vicks in the water and give steam to the infant from that utensil by partially covering her head with cloth.
Most of the time iss say faaida hota bachon ko
You can use some drops as well to clear nasal Mucosa
If I know complete clinical details of the patient I can prescribe proper medication as well, as I have extensive experience in paeds GP Ship as well
steam is not recommend
go for nebulization

There are hot water kettles available for steam but not recommended because of risk of accidents and might cause burns if spilled. Go to your nearest doctor for complete medical checkup

nebuliz alternate with atem and ventolin. no need of steam. add antibiotics. book appointment for further treatment. I will tell u which meds are best.
