I have low thyroid symptoms some such as dry skin feeling cold etc. I believe its due to iodine defeciency i want to do idoine supplement and selenium supplement to restore thyroid function. Any doctor that can guide this treatment properly

Just feel some sensations had poor digestion growing up due to undiagnosed lactose intolerance. Lately i have started using lactose free milk and feel better and noticed sensations in my thyroid. However please see my last report which was when i was feeling my best after taking alot of yoghurt and milk which led me to believe its the iodine now being absorbed.

how can u just assume that u have iodine deficiency...Consult ur endocrinologist ..get your fresh tfts done must have plus iodine levels & ultrasound neck .Then he ll decide either u need these supplements or not ...thankyou
