person-avatar

Asking For Self, Male 19, Lahore

Aoa, I've been feeling a non-painful pulse in my head since 1 month that gets worse when laying down, especially on my sides. Alongside my left arm and leg have become slightly weak recently. Alongside I've noticed a drop in dopamine levels too. Have gotten B12, TSH and CBC tests done, attached below. Kindly let me know what could possibly be the problem? My B12 levels are low btw.

Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar all normal. Though my symptoms tend to get worse whenever i consume any sort of caffeinated beverage. Haven't looked into any cardiac issue but i did feel shortness of breath 1-2 times during this time period while sitting down, but not the case when I'm indulging in physical activity. Would you suggest getting an ECG done?

Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar levels were normal. However I've noticed that caffeine does make my symptoms worse

General Physician in Lahore - Dr. Iza Khalid

you need to see a cardiologist n also consult him about suppliments to replenish you B12 deficiency.

numbness n weakness in limbs can b caused by B12 deficiency.
but you need to rule out all other causes first

No pre-existing disease. I quit caffeinated beverages before ramadan. Keeping in mind these symptoms started to show up in mid of ramadan. However one thing I've noticed for sure is that caffeine does make my symptoms worse but I'm sure It's not the root cause of it.
