Fever Problem

Question

My father is having fever yeasterday morning mild fever and at night high fever then he took medicine and it goes down after that today, s morning no fever in the noon time he feel fever again and dry throat. Please dr advice he did not get cheked just self medications regarding fever

well due to his age factor I would say better to have it checked .May be he will need to get tested for covid-19.
