Asking For Self, Male 31, Sargodha
Hello, I underwent two surgeries to address a perianal fistula. In the initial surgery, the doctor placed a seton, advising occasional pulling and a follow-up after 3 weeks. A month later, during the second surgery, the seton was removed, and the doctor mentioned the fistula had healed, leaving the track open for self-healing. Prescribed medications, dietary care, and sitz baths were recommended. It's been nearly 2 months post-surgery, and recently, I noticed blood in my stools. Is this a normal post-fistula surgery occurrence, or should I consult my doctor?
I am attaching Discharge Papers and Current Condition of Wound. Additionally, I want to inquire about mark 2 in attached picture—are these swollen veins are hemorrhoids?
Your advice is appreciated. Thank you.
