Flu Like Symptoms

Question

Day1: 99 fever with sore throat
Day2: 99 fever with diarrhea, sore throat gone
Day3-4: 99-99.5 fever with flu, diarrhea gone
Day5: 100 fever with diarrhoae, palpitations (probably due to exertion)

CBC tests on day 5 showed borderline low WBCs and monocytosis. Doctor advised antibiotic Rx for typhoid (typhidot came positive, blood C/S sample given)
Looking for second opinion. I am a doctor at Mayo and have been probably exposed to both covid and typhoid. Is there something to worry about? I want to wait and watch before any further tests.

Get an HRCT chest done if suspecting COVID, typhoid usually does not cause sore throat/flu.
Then wait for blood cultures and proceed with PCR accordingly
