Talk to General Physician on Headache Due To Overdose
Asking For Self, Male 38, Karachi
I take Glucophage tablet 1000g twice a day from last one week after that I am feeling regular headache and some stomach disorder. previously i take only 500g twice a day. Could you please guide me this is the reason for headache and stomach problem.

eat tablet with meals
This could be the reason especially stomach issues. You have two option either cut down the dose which tolerated before and have your practitioner add an other agent or have your dr prescribe you long acting/ extended release metformin.

See your treating physician and do your blood glucose levels please
Common side effects of glucophage, kindly consult your treating physician so that he/she may modify your line of treatment..
cut the dose and start monitoring sugar levels
These are side effects of glucophage.kindly consult physician to change medicine
side effects of drug ....conduit physician who prescribed you this one n tell him the issues so that he ll change it or minimize the doze..
You can divide your total dose with each meal I.e into three. So it will be 750 mg x3 times daily and see if it help and keep you blood sugar and symptom under control.
If these symptoms develop only after doubling the dose then this will help.
if this drug disturbs your stomach.
need to change the drug.
