Talk to General Physician on Heart Enlarge + Allergic Main BP Issue Currently
Asking For Mother, Female 61, karachi
hi, my mother having some kind of heart issue in which her heart size increase shown in xray I have consulted multiple docs regarding this and cough issue all doc said it's not super concerning thing just keep BP under controled so I try to keep monitoring mother BP on regular basis and other doctor changes allergic medicine this week now in this week mother BP showing bit high 130/85 avg before this week it was on an avg 120/80 I'm attaching reports if any one can help me in this regarding should I give any med for BP control that would be helpful for me, Thanks

Your mother predominantly has cough as a symptoms.Her BP readings are quite OK for someone aged 61.Is she taking any BP medicine or not?
Her Xray shows slight enlargement of heart with echocardiogram within normal limits.EF62 percent.
Excercise myo cardiac spect test is negative for cardiac perfusion abnormalities.
So do not worry on heart account.
Pulmonary or lung function shows nonspecific restriction which could also be poor breathing efforts.
Kindly consult a pulmonologist to rule out asthma.It could simply be an allergic cough.Get rid of pets.Dust allergy ,nuts or egg is common.Also pollen allergy.Avoid
any irritant.
Take a simple cough syrup like Acefyl cough syrup 2tsp three times a day.
A few questions..How long the cough has existed.Is it dry cough or sputum comes out.?Which time it occurs morning or evening.?
