I'm 23, facing swelling on leg between thigh and knee and have immense pain as i walk,. I haven't been to any activity these days expect cooking, so I'm curious why this is happening

swelling since when? is imp and other related qs if it,s more then a week ...It could be due to trauma , muscle injury , underlying inflammation,being overweight, or as u mentioned cooking so long standing can also be a factor, other serious causes include kidney or heart problems ..what I can advice you to elevate your legs above ur heart level when u sleep it will help ur swelling to regress moreover take some nsaid, and apply warm compress ,if it,s less then a week .Moroever , Its better to see and consult a surgical department for proper examination and evaluation of swelling

It is since 3,4 days, I weigh around 48 something, checked a month back, cooking time is 45 mins 2 timesa day, since 2 days I'm sleeping more than 10 hours, no other activity, but there is stress
