Aoa, About 7 days before my 3 year old son was complaining about belly pain, we took him to GP after 2 days as he was quite gastric and passing motions 4 to 5 on daily basis with yellow pee. GP prescribe Caricef antibiotic, Entamizole and Entrogimina probiotics for 3-5 days. Further advised to give him ORS to avoid dehydration that the child didn’t take. During this medication child was passing yellow color greasy stool, that leaves yellow stain on my hand even I had to wash my hands 3,4 times with soap to clean that yellow color, and the pee color remained yellow, his quantity of pee was ok(not more or less) but visit to washroom for pee was quite often. After 5 days of meditation child get ok his poop pee color is ok , and poop texture as well. But now he pee less, like after every 1 hour he pee very little. Is it normal ? Yes, he is not drinking much water after this whole scenario but before this situation his water intake was quite good and quantity of pee was also normal. Is
need to be visited by a specialist general physician or nephrologist ASAP
Your child might be suffering from pancreatic insufficiency. he needs to be evaluated by pediatrician or General physician .
Go to a Pediatrician.
ensure good oral hydration . ensure it and follow up with pediatrician (not gp)
If he is not drinking enough water then it is ok
but if he have lack of appetite problem and loss of thirst then it could be due to medication which he have taken before during his treatment
