Talk to General Physician on Marfan Syndrome

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Male, 19 years old, Lahore

I have minor symptoms of Marfan Syndrome. I want to ask, which specialist I should go to first for the diagnosis. A Doctor of genes or a Cardiologist? My symptoms are very minor. (long arms, legs, and fingers and nearsightedness.) No one in the family has these symptoms. I never faced any medical problems related to this. I just want to clarify whether I can go to the gym for mass gain or not. because Marfan syndrome patients are not allowed to do the gym.

Have you had genetic testing? It can be due to any other hormonal imbalance too.

No you don't need to. I was asking as you are so sure about marfans syndrome.
Get your full check up by a good general Physician and also get cardiologist review. Then only actual problem will be identified.

Also u need to get echo and ecg done.
