This is a question which needs to be discussed with the relevant oncologist , surgeon along with urologist.The possibility of a growing tumour causing urinary or ureteric obstruction at a later stage is there.A stent can remain in place for months if needed.
You should discuss it with your oncologist first .There is a possibility that the chemotherapy helps in regression of tumour in which case you can remove the stent after chemotherapy.Your oncologist is the best person to decide because he has a grasp of the situation.Stent removal shall however be done by the urologist.
If the stent is unbearably painful then it may need to be removed with oncologists' consent.

yes oncologist says that now first of all very important thing is chemotherapy but my mom feel sever pain when she goes washroom for urin.before chemotherapy start we went to urologist then he said remove your stent with in 7 days.
we confused now
