I understand that you have been experiencing difficulty sleeping and have also noted a connection to anxiety and panic. Insomnia can be caused by a variety of factors including psychological conditions such as anxiety and depression. It is important to address both the sleep and anxiety concerns as they can exacerbate each other.
I recommend that you schedule an appointment with a sleep medicine specialist to undergo a thorough evaluation. This may include a sleep study, to rule out any underlying sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, which can also contribute to insomnia. Additionally, it is important to identify any triggers or factors that may be contributing to your anxiety and panic, and to work with a mental health professional to develop a treatment plan, such as CBT which is the gold standard for psychological issues.
In the meantime, there are some lifestyle changes you can make to improve your sleep. Establishing a regular sleep schedule and sticking to it, even on weekends, can help regulate your body's internal clock. Avoiding caffeine and electronics before bedtime can also help improve sleep quality. Additionally, practicing relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, can help reduce feelings of anxiety and promote a sense of calm.
It might be helpful to consider incorporating Islamic spiritual practices into your treatment plan. For example, performing the evening (Isha) and night (Tahajjud) prayers and reciting the Quran before bedtime may help you relax and reduce feelings of anxiety
It is important to remember that addressing insomnia and anxiety takes time and effort, but with the right treatment and support, you can improve your sleep and overall well-being.
