It's important to see a doctor or physical therapist to determine the cause of your muscle and neck pain. In the meantime, you can try some gentle stretching exercises to help alleviate your pain. Here are a few neck stretches you can try:

Neck tilt: Tilt your right ear towards your right shoulder and hold for 15-30 seconds. Repeat on the left side.
Neck rotation: Slowly turn your head to the right and hold for 15-30 seconds. Repeat on the left side.
Shoulder roll: Roll your shoulders forward and backwards in a circular motion.
Be sure to breathe deeply and slowly during these stretches and never push through pain. If your pain persists, see a doctor or physical therapist for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.
