Talk to General Physician on Pus And Swelling In Lower Leg And Foot

person-avatar

Asking for Other, Male, 63 years old, MULTAN

My father in law got a cut from a metal screw on his foot to which he applied saniplast. 10 days later his lower leg and foot swelled to 3 times it's size.

The area is now filled with pus, swollen, red, hard, tender and has bumps on it. No fever and bp is normal. We showed it to an orthopedic surgeon and the tests and medicines are attached.

Can you please suggest which specialist doctor is best for this issue and if this treatment is okay. We are afraid of it getting worse. Thank you.
