Sever Throat Pain, Throat Congestion And Difficulty Swallowing

Question

I had been experiencing sever throat pain and congestion for the past three days and was tested positive for corona today. While I don't seem to be having trouble breathing or any other serious symptoms, I am experiencing extreme pain and congestion in my throat and I am unable to swallow food and end up spitting it out. Could this be a serious condition?
