Talk to General Physician on Severe Headache & Vomiting

person-avatar

Asking For Wife, Female 27, Abbottabad

Aslam o Alikom,

Last evening, (6:00 PM) my wife complained about headache. I took it as a normal thing and suggested her to take some rest. But all of the sudden (11:00 PM), her headache got severed along with nausea and she started crying because of the pain intensity. I took her to the emergency unit (Ayub Medical Complex) where she also vomited (only 1 time). Docter checked her, questioned some general things and suggested injection for vomiting and pain (she also wrote some pain relievers and vomiting syrup for home). Her pain intensity got better after the injection and she is feeling totally fine now, slept well at night and is spending day time like normal days. But i am a bit worried about something serious as she never felt that severe headache before. So i want to take some suggestions regarding this, whether i should contact any specialist or not for further examination or tests like CT, or MRI.? Is this all the indication of something risky in near times.? Kindly suggest
