Talk to General Physician on Slow Pulse

Aoa. My father went to the doctor for routine checkup and he told him that ecg and echo is not normal so he went for angiography and got three stent, two in one main artery and one in another because his heart rate was very slow he’s diabetic and he didnt take rovista also. He got angioplasty on 3rd may and today we checked on oximeter his heart rate is still low its 57 and oxygen is 94. Doctor called for follow up after 14 days we are very worried kindly tell we should wait or go to doctor is this heart rate is safe or anything to worry ? Doctor told my dad he will see for 6 months if the heart rate doesnt go up he will add pacemaker. Plz guide me
