It’s a good idea to start under the supervision of a doctor. Even though the patches help, there is still a chance you will have craving symptoms. Being in contact with a doctor will allow you to have some support for these symptoms. It’s best to stop smoking at once with the patches. The cravings will peak at the 4-5 days and settle in 1-2 weeks. In a month you should not have any cravings. Also try to use Gums to keep yourself busy. Avoid friends who you smoke with. Try to go for a walk or jog when you feel like smoking. Also brushing your teeth helps. Best of luck.
