Asking For Self, Male 28, karachi
hello dr i was gone to a particular laboratory for my cbc test .. the unfortunate incident that happend their was the lab technician by mistake attached the previous patient vaccumtube with my needle .. once my blood was drawn i saw it was previous patient blood vaccum tube .. i got very angry there .. now iam really worried and tensed because i was wondering is there any chance of contracting hiv hcv or hbv virus .. because i dont know which virus was present in patients blood of whose vaccum tube was used with my needle .. NOTE,, NEEDLE WAS NEW BUT VACCUM TUBE WAS BY MISTAKE ATTACHED OF A PREVIOUS PATIENT
If the needle is new, then I guess there is no issue. As the blood is drawn outwards in the syringe and there is no chance of contact of previous blood with your body.
no need to panic..no issue would be there
not to worried about.
get blood tested after two wks just for satisfaction
Don't worried about
donot worry
need to be visited by a specialist physician soon after taking history and doing physical examination and some tests then everything will be cleared up
don't worry
