Swollen Feet

Question

My mother is dibetic (insulin dependent) and hypersensitive. She also has anxiety and arthritis. She is currently experiencing recurring adema in her feet. Left foot is more swelled then right foot. Her doctor say this is because she takes too many medication. But we think its something else. Kindly guide us in this regard.
P. S. Her Sugar and Blood Pressure is controlled.

is she taking calcium channel blocker for blood pressure control.can be related to that.Otherwise get her Urine checked for proteinuria

2. Sharing your patient's medication list with Consultant Physician

3. Some Blood Tests like
Fibrinogen Level
D-Dimer Level
Renal Function Test

4. Ultrasound Collor Doppler Study of both Lower limbs especially for veins
to rule out Deep Venous Thrombosis

5. All the above mentioned facilities are available in our Govt Hospital
