Asking For Self, Female 20, Karachi
aoa! I'm having trouble breathing since these past few weeks, this has happend before and mostly when I'm lying down. When I consulted the doctor they told me it's because of Vitamin D deficiency. And then everything went back to normal but now it's happening again. Since the past few weeks it's been even more difficult for me to breath. My back and neck used to hurt back then too but this time it's a bit severe and their is a lot of cracking noise from my bones when I move also when i take a deep breath my chest bone makes a cracking sound.
Mijhe saans lene ke liye zor lagana parhta hei or kabhi kabar kheech ke mun se saans leni parhti hei it's exhausting. Aisa lagta mijhe khud hi saans leni pare gi warna I wouldn't breath involuntarily at all.
I don't have anyother health conditions nor a history of one. I checked my heart rate (above 70) and oxygen level both were Alhamdulillah normal.
could it really be vitamin D deficiency?? because that's what my doctor keeps saying.
To clarify your doctor’s concern, you can get Vitamin D level checked.
I would advise to see a pulmonologist to rule out asthma.
Anxiety/stress, at subconscious level, can also cause similar shortness of breath.
a simple ans would be to get your vit d levels checked and then we can reach a final decision
w.s yes indeed you do have vit d deficiency and you need proper treatment for that.now if all these symptoms are due to vit d deficiency or not it can only be sorted out after a detailed discussion

what is normocytic and normochromix. i made the mistake of looking it up on Google so I'm a bit worried
3 years ago
Normocytic means the size of the red blood cell is normal. Normochromic means the concentration of hemoglobin in red blood cell is in normal range. Nothing to worry here.
