Asking For Someone else, Mother, Female, 57 Years old, Lahore
Respected Doctors, My Mother’s on F4 of Liver Cirrhosis, SWE Elasticity/Stiffness is 12.7 kpa. According to her recent Ultrasound she has Coarse/Cirrhotic Liver and Splenomegaly. She also had Hep-C which is now negative since a year. Moreover, endoscopy sessions were also conducted and she got bands for her varices. According to the information provided above, I have following questions: (1). She gets Acid Reflux during the day and more at night for which she took Ganaton-OD and Omezole 40mg but her problem didn’t get resolved, due to this she has difficulty sleeping at night. (2). She is now suffering from pains in her joints as well. (3) Even if there is no Acid Reflux, she can’t sleep at night. Currently the medicines she is taking are: Tab. VADIL 6.25mg (1+0+1) , Tab PARAXYL CR (at night) , Gaviscon Syrup. Please respond what further treatment could be done for her. Thanks.

stay in touch with a gastroenterologist with regular follow ups every month...
for reflux problem followings measures might help
1. take light diet ..no oily ,spicy foods
2. use yogurt and ispaghol husk
3. 3,4 egg whites must be consumed daily
4. keep the head end of her bed slightly raised
5. she should not have anything 1 hour before sleep.
6. take itopride tablet half hour before every meal
7.Cap . dexxo 40 mg daily half hour before breakfast.

9.continue remaining medications
