I am not sure if i should visot a dermetologist or a gastrologist for this? pimples on face not very frequent but happens to be one at a time or 3 to 4 quite near to each other with pain. my skin is oily. what ointment should i use. i do care and wash my face and cleanse it with good diet no oily food no junk food.

wash ur face with acnes facewash atleast 5 to 6 times a day...
Asalamualikum!do you have black heads??and what is the most frequent site of pimple???and do you have normal periods??? If you get a pimple you can use dalacin t lotion on the pimple twice daily...and you should use airol n face wash...

I am unmarried. Yes I have regular cycle. these days i am having pimples above chin near side of the lips. i do not have black heads. my skin is clear though these spots vanishes after few weeks. but I want to get it stopped by clear understanding of the reason. To me it seems normal.

plz post the picture of affected area for better guidance.Yes u can visit the dermatologist /or book consultation with dermatologist here on Marham.
pimples on face can be due to multiple reasons... you dont need to worry about it... if its bothering you then you should visit a dermatologist and consult ..
Take a close up pic of one pimple nd also indicate whr u having pimples on face like cheek nd chin,forehead??how long have u been suffering?are u married?

You should consult a dermatologist.
Pimples/Acne can occur due to various reasons. Points to remember are
1. Don't touch them excessively as they may be infected and infection can spread to other area when you touch them or try to rupture them.
2. Face wash/fairness creams may have some ingredients that can increase them or may not be suitable for your skin type. So consider natural ingredients for face wash such as gram flour, orange peel paste, milk, rose water.
3. Use sunscreens while going outside. You may use Vitamin E pea sized for LA over the acne scars.
4. Drink lots of water, and follow the diet chart accordingly.

You should avoid soap for face wash use clean & clear face wash and betnovate ointment
are they pus filled?
please describe the nature of your pimples. color, itch, yellowish crusting?

they need to be evaluated 1st before prescribing anything

Aoa use facewashes with salicylic acid like cera ve, and acnea creamy face wash. Dont apply low quality makeup.. Use duac gel on pimples
