Asking for Sister, Female, 22 years old, Lahore
My sister got her blood transfusion when she was 12 years old, since then she is suffering from low blood pressure and other minor issues, which are getting worse day by day. I would like to ask which doctor should we consult? Under which category does this issues falls? Thanks!
this is not blood transfusion complication low blood pressure and other health issues have many different reasons . lack of balanced diet is main reason at this age. consult any general practitioner

Firstly I want to correct your perception that there is no relation ship of a transfusion done 10 yrs before related to 10 yrs of continuous low blood pressure unless there is some other history not described or explained. you said other minor issues what are they?

Blood transfusions do not cause such issues. However, get a CBC done to see her haemoglobin level and visit a general physician or internal medicine doctor first so that they can take a good history and examine the patient properly and then they will decide which specialist doctor should she be referred to. Hello..!! Blood transfusion doesn't cause such complications after years. You need to get her checked with general physician.. A detailed history will be required to assess if this is just because of lack of diet or is there any organic cause and needs to be investigated..
