She have stones in gall bladder, which can't be treated with medicine. Medicine can only help to get releif from symptoms for time being.
Only solution is surgical removal of gall bladder. Symptoms she's suffering can be due to this or it can be post covid syndrome.
Cost of cholecystectomy varies, if you can't afford it in private hospital. I suggest you should visit a govt. hospital & get time for the surgery.

Medication can relieve symptoms for the time being, but ultimate decision would be surgery now or in future, to avoid any complications from slippage of stone to bile ducts and causing any severity and emergency you should opt for today. There are 2 types of surgical interventions, open or laparoscopic, lap cholecystectomy would be preferable to avoid scars and quick recovery and it costs 20 to 30k in MTH faisalabad.

Medicine is only use for the symptoms not a permanent solution for cholelithiasis. The best and the main solution is cholecystectomy when the patient is having symptoms..so if you belong to lahore and here is too many general surgeon whom are doing either open or lap cholecystectomy..it depends upon you which type of procedure you go through. In lahor approximate expense is 60k to 80k.

Salaam. Yes the ultrasound shows cholelithiasis. Pitte m pathri in common words. And need to get operated too. Its a very small procedure and performed by creating some small wholes through which camera and other instruments pass. But if any complication encountered during procedure can turn into open cholecystectomy.

The symptoms you are telling not necessarily due to cholelithiasis. As she has just recovered from COVID. Loss of appetite. Decrease or altered taste and smell remains for 2-3 months too. Will resolve gradually on its own.

For further details on procedure kindly consult me.

1. Symptoms(Nausea, pain, vomiting) can be relieved temporarily through medication but the root cause(Gallstones) cannot be treated by medicine. Have to undergo surgery ultimately.
2. Ther are two kinds of surgical procedures available at government and private health facilities. One is Laproscopic surgery.... in which minor incisions(holes) are given on abdomen and surgical equipments including camera are inserted... favourable procedure.. Second is open surgery in which a long incision is given on belly and gall bladder is removed.
