Check regular random blood sugar 2 hours after meal and fasting blood sugar twice a day before meal.
Then accordingly insulin dose will be calculated

You can first go to a good reasonable lab and get your HBA-1C done and do let me know the results after that i will be able to help you regarding your issues

that's not important that one Dr tell u one thing and the other ..this dosing is done according to ur sugar levels if u kindly update so e routine fooding habits with timing n sugar or hba1c so we can guide

sugar never conrolled on only one consultation , you should stick to one doctor and follow him , he will start a regime ,then adjust dose as per need with multiple consultations ,then he will need blood sugar record ,in this way he will guide u and treat u in better way. its not short term disease ,it long term disease butif u control it well by follow a doctor ,it will not harm u . but if nit control it ,it will harm u in many way .
