Asking for Father, Male, 56 years old, Karachi
Patient age: 56yo Medical History: Diabetic. Hypertension issue. Recently diagnosed with sixth nerve palsy issue after ear infection, right ear hearing power decreased, but now eye movement is back to normal, with sugar and blood pressure in control, alhamdulillah. Taking following medicines as prescribed by doctor:
Sitamet 50/500 mg (1+0+1) Diamicron 80mg (1+0+1) Concor 2.5mg (1+0+0) Limgit 100mg (1+0+1) Pletaal 100mg (1+0+1) Lipiget 10mg (0+0+1) Nexum 40mg (1+0+0) Lowplat 75mg (1+0+0) Tanakan (1+1+1)
Question is, what we can give him for making his immunity system strong? Can he take Surbex Z, CaC-1000, CeCon tablets? Keeping in mind he is diabetic since 12 years almost.
Also, what should we do if (God forbid) he gets any symptoms of COVID-19?

The most importany way to boost immunity on this case is to optimise and keep good control of blood sugar.... All other vitamins and minerals are secondary
Yes he can be given Surbex Z, Cac 1000 and Cecon tablets. Cac 1000 is available in sugar free form also, take that. If he gets any symptoms then go for COVID PCR test first. If positive then we can proceed further.

first of all ,make sure that his sleep diet and adequate exercise (walk etc) is proper...these are the best source to boost immunity.
secondly, yeah serbex z is a good option .

surbex Z is multivitamins, can be given once daily. In case of symptoms of covid, you must isolate him from other family members and take him to nearby facility to get his test done. Check for fever, sore throat, for difficulty in breathing.

A: First :: we can boast immunity by natural sources as diet , in your case as patient is diabetic so 1:you can use fresh salad ,and green leafy vegetables once daily :: 2: you can give boiled eggs without fat contents 2-4 egg white daily 3; you can give patient red meat to boast immunity in boiled form or cooked or soup .... B : second option is to boast immunity via medicines as you have mentioned , for this give 1: tablet serbex zee once a day ::2: tablet CaC1000plus once a day , talet Incobal 500ug once a day .. injection Indrop -D per oral once a week .. Along with all this encourage patient for physical exercise as it also boast immunity..... NOW regarding covid-19 treatment for patient is symptomatic as following 1: tab panadol 2 per 4 hour for fever 2: syrup hydraline for cough ..3; Nebulization with normal saline 6 hourly . 4: nebulize with stem+cleinal 8 hourly .. chest physio therapy .. keep check on oxygen saturation by pulse oximetr... most important thing is to keep patient isolated at home and take care of other family members.. in case patient is unable to manage at home contact hospital.
