There is inflammation for some reason,,, you need to mention the additional symptoms in detail (fever, vomiting, cramps etc) for evaluation, mean while can have immediate symptomatic treatment and also inform about what diet and medicines he is using and what is his job?
doctors never treat laboratory, you please mention your history ( symptoms) too.
