Talk to General Practitioner on Diarrhea Since Last 3 Years
Asking For Father, Male 77, Lahore
My father is diabetic patient (insulin) and having Diarrhea from last 3 years (Taking ORS, Neo-k, Mg, Qalsan-D, Sodamint and Hidrasec Capsule). Recently he has recovered from Typhoid fever after 25 days. He has general weakness. He cannot walk and sit due weakness. Kindly suggests Multivitmen or powder for weakness keeping in view diarrhea and diabetic patient.

keep him on simple low glycemic diet and check sugar levels daily.
tablet surbex Z once a day.
low fat milk 1 cup daily.
keep him hydrated.
walk with support for 5 to 10min.
Hello...!! what is the cause of diarrhoea?? well you may try giving him small amounts of glucerna as much as he tolerates.. and also Becefol or Revitale B tablet once daily.. but do concern primary physician whenever possible who is treating his diarrhoea..
I can get ensure tin for diabetics..
ors is fine but zinc should be given in diarrhoea.
check his bp also if its low plz take him to hosp.
Please use Glucerna milk powder for energy replacement. It is for diabetic patients. Monitor sugar levels so that they are not below normal. Give light diet and fruits in small portions 5-6 times. Do some physiotherapy. continue ORS. you can give Surbex- Z or any zinc, iron and folic acid supplements.
