No fever.. But pain under ribs.. No seriois Acidity issues.. There is no TB history in the past in our family

prolonged cough can cause pain under ribs. Theres no fever so no antibiotics needed either. Ask him to gargle w slightly warm water w salt thrice a day. Ginger tea will also help. If the cough still persists then pls get PPD test done to rule out TB.

Does he have shortness of breathe and swelling under eyes or face or legs feet etc,,,, he needs detailed evaluation. Meanwhile chest Xray PA view and Seum RFTs are needed to be done.
