Hello,
Thanks for your prompt reply. Basically 102 is considered impaired that's why.
Brief history:
As the person was feeling heat sensation with sweating issues that's why lab tests were done which include cholesterol, thyroid profile, and blood glucose fasting.

Other reports? HbA1c is best to do to see sugar control of past 3 months. and first line is always diet modification and walk or light exercise and reduction of weight if obese to control blood sugar, if patient has no comorbids if that does not work then comes medication. by the way does patient has any past history of any sort of health issues?

fasting of 102 mg per dl is not diagnostic of diabetes.
how was patient diagnosed?
why was glucophage given?
any medicine can cause allergy in a patient.
please note that it is not safe to ask for medicine on msg without doctor taking complete medical history.
Medical problems cannot be handled without appointment. it is unsafe to request detailed advice or prescription of medicines without talking in detail with patient.
Moreover, combining medicines suggested by different doctors is very dangerous as it leads to overdose, serious side effects and drug interactions.

if her fasting is 102 mg per dl, switching to a sulfonylurea can cause dangerously low sugar levels.
low sugar levels can kill in minutes.
please avoid asking for medicines without full consultation and full investigations.
taking shortcuts to save a few hundred rupees can result in dangerous effects of permanent disability or death.
